Mountain Farm is a 24-acre lavender, blueberry and dairy goat farm in the Southern Appalachians of North Carolina. They have one cottage rental for $110 per night, which is open from April to November. Mountain Farm Shop and Dairy offers a great variety of working farm activities for the entire family.
There are many local trails in the area that take you into the beautiful Appalachian mountains. Have a romantic picnic at the pond, enjoy the sweet smell of lavender or just relax in a peaceful cottage. If you come in the spring you might even get to bottle feed a kid (baby goat)!
