    Susan Levine:
Might have already found info on Hull-o Farms since you posted-they’re located in the catskill mountains in upstate new york-wonderful place to visit. If you did a search engine request you’ll find their website. The people are amazing, the cooking is all you can eat family style and Miss Sherry can cook-the first night we were there, she served penne pasta and meatballs, veggie lazagna, veal and venison lazagna and a pheaseant noodle dish with peppers and tomato sauce. Breakfast is equally good. The views are spectacular-I think even if your not interested in hands on farm experience this is just a great place to relax-they even have hunting packages for deer turkey and phesant during the hunting season.

I think our favorite activities when we went was bottle feeding baby calves and getting to milk a goat and a cow. And when we left we made sure we bought their farm raised and processed -meats. Worth the money -I almost forgot how good food can taste. We love that the meat is vacccuum sealed-don’t have to worry about it getting freezer burn-it’s such a waste when meat gets it-we bought some farm raised chickens near where we live and we ended up throwing out the last one left becuase it wasn’t properly sealed.
Well hope you find your way to Durham, New York-you won’t be sorry!

A healthy and active senior would like to vacation (and help out) at a farm. No car. Is pickup at station available?
